  • Responsible for all customer facing business analysis supporting the transition of the website to a multichannel ATG based solution.
  • Involved in all stages of the project lifecycle including requirements gathering, functional design, offshore development support, testing activities and business change.
  • Daily contact with senior business stakeholders, solution architects, creative leads, user experience leads and offshore and onshore developers.
  • Multiple trips to India to independently hand over functional designs to 60 offshore developers working for an outsourced development company, Professional Access, and to support development activities.

University of Cambridge graduate recruitment lead for consulting

  • Formed the consulting recruitment strategy for the 2011/2012 recruitment year.
  • Lead a team to support 30 recruitment events on campus.
  • Boosted year on year applications by 30% securing the position of second largest employer from Cambridge University behind the Civil Service.

  • Represented Jesus College Cambridge at a children’s rehabilitation centre in Ethiopia.
  • Trained staff to use their IT systems leaving behind legacy learning guides.
  • Taught English, Maths and Science to disabled children of mixed age (4 years to 18 years) with ranging abilities (illiterate to A-level equivalent) across a language barrier.

  • Produced bespoke software written in Java to control advertisements on screens around York.

National Exposure Member of National Youth Music Groups 2002-2009

  • Former principal trumpet with National Youth Wind Orchestra of Wales.
  • Past member of National Youth Jazz Wales and the National Youth Brass Band of Wales.

  • Performed with ensembles at the Royal Albert Hall including twice as principal trumpet of a large orchestra with repertoire chosen for their trumpet solos.
